Since 2013, the Whimsical Collection team has grown steadily.
Our products are primarily handmade in our warehouse by a dedicated team of craftsmen and women from the local community. Each piece features one of
Dezireë Smith’s Whimsical designs, bringing fine art into everyday objects while maintaining a strong sense of authorship and quality.
Wildlife and conservation remain key focus areas for the team. We actively support South African charities and initiatives dedicated to the protection of indigenous animals and conservation efforts across the country.
Whimsical Collection is built on patience, integrity, and a long-term commitment to both craft and care.

Care for Wild
We support Care for Wild, the world’s largest orphaned rhino sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rewilding rhinos affected by poaching.
We promote the plight of endangered African animals by donating to ‘Care for Wild’, dedicated to rearing the baby rhinos that lost their mothers to poaching.
