African Voyage

Take to the African skies…

African Voyage takes the viewer on an imagined luxury air safari.

Dezireë Smith’s love of Africa and bygone eras (such as the golden age of air travel) comes to life in the African Voyage range. The first painting in the range – ‘Leopard Voyage’ – instantly transports the viewer to a remote airstrip in the bush where the usually elusive leopard becomes an inquisitive kitten fascinated by the presence of a small aircraft.  The second painting, ‘Zebra Voyage’, transports the viewer to vast expanses of African wilderness with moody skies and mirage-like colour. We cannot wait to see where Dezireë’s imagination takes us next!
